Our History
AA Spinning Mills Limited was founded in 2003 by Sheikh Muhammad Yaseen (Late), the third generation of the Sheikh family to be involved in the textile industry. The Ibrahim family has a rich history in the textile business, with their involvement dating back to the late 20th century starting with the late Haji Sheikh Muhammad Ibrahim who had moved to Faisalabad, then Lyallpur, from Amritsar right after the partition of the Subcontinent in 1947. Having started out as a cloth trading business under the banner of Ibrahim Agencies, the second generation of the family led by Sheikh Mukhtar Ahmad expanded into trading of yarns and quickly established a strong presence in the textile industry.
He was soon joined by his eldest son, Sheikh Muhammad Yaseen, in the mid 70's. Looking towards the future, the group decided to vertically integrate the business and moved into the manufacturing and sale of blended and cotton yarns with the establishment of Ibrahim Textile Mills in 1980. The success of the first unit allowed a further two units to be built in 1984 and 1989, these being AA Textiles Limited and Zainab Textiles respectively. With a focus on growth, the group took steps into establishing power generation capabilities through the addition of furnace oil generators to sustain manufacturing and further integrated vertically by adding two polyester production plants; one in 1996 and the other 2002.
It was thanks to the vision and forwards thinking of leaders such as Sheikh Muhmmad Yaseen (late) who laid the groundwork for what Ibrahim Fibres was able to achieve in the early 2000's. Taking his experience and knowledge he had gained from his time as a Director at Ibrahim Fibres from the early 70’s to the early 2000’s, he led the establishment of AA Spinning Mills in 2003.
Unfortunately, he was unable to see the fruit of his labor flourish into the manufacturing powerhouse it is today. His leadership was characterized by his unwavering commitment to growth, sustainability, consistency and humility which helped shape the organizational culture, both at Ibrahim Fibres and AA Spinning Mills. His legacy is carried on by the Yaseen Family who continue to lead AA Spinning Mills into the next generation of textile manufacturing.
With over 20 years of experience in the textile and yarn manufacturing industry, AA Spinning Mills has quickly established itself as a manufacturer of quality blended yarns, dealing in materials; from cotton and polyester to lycra and creora, we are a family owned and operated business and our focus on quality at every step is the fibre that binds us together. Led by Sheikh Muhammad Yaseen’s sons, Asim and Atif Yaseen, the organization continues to strive to newer heights.
